Ο Αμερικανός πρόεδρος Ν.Τραμπ αποκάλυψε ότι «Οι Ιρανοί έριξαν 101 πυραύλους κατά του USS Abraham Lincoln».
Είναι η πρώτη φορά που παραδέχτηκε δημόσια ότι το αμερικανικό αεροπλανοφόρο τέθηκε στο στόχαστρο των Ιρανών.
Ωστόσο έχουν προκύψει αναφορές πως επρόκειτο για κινεζικούς αντιπλοϊκούς πυραύλους CM-302 και YJ-21.
Κάτι το οποίο δεν επιβεβαιώνεται και μπορεί να είναι μία προσπάθεια των Αμερικανών να εμπλέξουν τους Κινέζους.
